With the development of high fidelity audio systems and television in the early 1950's, Wendell Fabrics designed a line of acoustic fabrics for speaker covers that allowed the sound to pass through without muffling. Those grille fabrics, as they are referred to, are still being produced and widely used today.

During the late 1950's a woven paper cane product was developed that has been widely used by most furniture companies in chair backs, table tops and many other applications. We no longer manufacture paper cane products.

There have been many specialty fabrics produced over the past 47 years such as vertical blind fabrics, afghans, table top fabrics and many more.

We also manufacture electro-static and antimicrobial air filter fabrics. These fabrics are increasingly popular in all types of heating and air conditioning systems.

Our latest product is producing extruded Polypropylene Monofilament Yarns.
